Femto-Sized Couplers

Nearly 25 years ago, Anaren established the stripline, surface-mount coupler category with our first Xinger-brand components. Then came our spec-beating Xinger-II and smaller Xinger-III Pico-sized parts. Now, our Femto-sized family of Xinger-III hybrid and directional couplers raise the bar for performance and size, and are ideally suited for today’s low-power, micro base station applications.

These products offer a tiny footprint of only 0.2 x 0.125” (5.08 x 3.18mm), tight amplitude balance and high isolation, best-in-class insertion loss, best-in-class for their size 25W power handling at 105°C mounting temperature, and cover 700-2700MHz. Like all Xinger components, these have been subjected to rigorous qualification testing and are manufactured using materials that are coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) compatible with common substrates such as FR4, G-10, RF-35, RO4350, and polyimide. Xinger-brand couplers are supplied in a manufacturing-friendly surface mount package, and are also RoHS-compliant.
