On an as-needed basis and at the company's discretion, Anaren offers a 56-hour, Assembly Training Program to any/all interested members of the public workforce* interested in developing, refreshing, or enhancing basic manufacturing assembly skills. When offered, seats for the course are limited and will be available based on interviews. Those interested in learning more about Anaren's future Assembly Training Program dates should contact our HR team at 315-432-8909. (Anaren will also promote upcoming courses held on its website and publish the dates of such courses on on this web page.)
Training Program overview: > Duration of course: Two weeks plus a Saturday > Subjects addressed: - Basic Shop Math (4 hrs) - Basic Blueprint Readng (10 hrs) - Basic Metrology (2 hrs) - Basic Soldering (40 hrs) > The course format will include lecture and applied hands-on skill development, with written and actual fabrications used as evaluations of skills acquired. > Requisite skills/abilities should include good visual acuity (including ability to work with microscopes), good manual dexterity, and English competency (both written and oral). > Graduates will receive a document certifying successful completion of the Program; this program is not currently a college- or vocation-accredited course.
